I have always loved old houses and a project! Nine years ago I got into real estate when my husband and I began investing in area property, this transitioned into helping other people find their dream home or build up their investment portfolio. It is such a pleasure to help clients find homes they love, or find great investment properties, or to help a client sell a home for a profit that helps build wealth for them and their future generations. I have a Bachelor’s in Social Work and a Master’s in Public Health. Prior to real estate, I was a social worker and have found so many similarities in the two fields. I feel like being a realtor is social work for houses, because I get to help match clients to houses and to the services they need to make their home buying and selling experiences a smooth and pleasant process. My husband and I enjoy raising three active boys, two cats, and a few chickens in the Forest Hills neighborhood. We are within three miles of all the nature, hiking, and conveniences we could ever need or want! When I’m not driving my boys around to activities and sporting events, I love to read, travel, and host parties. My husband and I have also been working on our house for the past eight years! What can I say? I love a fixer upper. Our most recent fixer upper was in Nice, France and we had a blast getting it ready to be a short term rental! In the future, I want to be more involved with public and community health and its relationship to real estate and the community we live in—green housing, air quality initiatives, and improving greenways. I help host the Big Green Fair at Percy Priest Elementary School, The Pathway Party, and participate in the neighborhood Weed Wrangle to tackle all the invasive species along the greenway.
